Fast becoming a popular place for pastries in south east of Brisbane, La Bouche in Cleveland just opened earlier this year and locals are loving what they have to offer.

Owned by partners Michael and Erin, they live by their mantra: “Treat them sweet, keep them sweet, give them sweet.” They make their pastries on site using fresh seasonal produce from the Redlands, as well was French Butter and Australian flour.

The store isn’t a cafe. It’s a shop where you can buy delicious pastries. However, there are benches outside where you can sit down whilst you wait for your order or where you can eat what you ordered right away.

There is a wide selection of pastries that will surely make anyone’s pastry bucket list — almond croissants, chocolate brownies and homemade marshmallows.

If you’re looking for something hearty, pies are also being offered — roast lamb and rosemary pies, maple smoked bacon and cheddar tarts and many more.

For those with food sensitivities, they also offer gluten-free pastries. Just ask.

This is also the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee when you’re on the way to work or you just need a caffeine fix. They offer coffee from Bear Bones Espresso.

The place is located at Shop 2, 71 Shore St West.
