On 24 March, great deals await at the trash and treasure garage sale at Cleveland District State High School from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This annual garage sale has a lot to offer, from books, plants to furniture, and even baked goods. You can even get some unique clothes and kitchenware that you will love.

Acquired funds from the event will be used for the school’s chaplaincy program and to supply books for libraries at schools in Vanuatu in collaboration with The Library Project.

The Library Project aims to install libraries that will help raise education standards in the country. In order to do this, they partner with schools, churches, and clubs to help them turn their vision into a reality. Cleveland High students together with the organisations and communities within the Redlands are a supporters of the project.

Through their efforts, they have already established ten libraries in ten remote villages in Vanuatu.

You can also donate goods and books. Drop them off at the Smith Street community hall next to the Redland Museum on 23 March between 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
