The Bloomfield Street Development in Cleveland might soon see the rise of an apartment building and tourist accommodation with commercial office spaces. Originally a residential and office development proposal only, the developer, Wolter Consulting Group, has recently submitted a change in its proposal to the Redland City Council for their project at 219-221 Bloomfield Street.

With this new change, the Bloomfield Street Development Proposal in Cleveland will have a six-level building, composed of two levels of car parking and four levels of residential units. The unit will also feature various apartment sizes, ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedroom apartments. There will be two commercial office spaces.

Ensuring that the future residents will have a place to enjoy the fresh air, there will be a private open space via balconies and a communal open space at the Bloomfield Street Development in Cleveland.

This development seems in keeping with an observable growth in multiple dwellings in the Redlands, an area considered ideal for downsizers. Over a decade in the making, the Toondah Outlook Development is currently the largest project in the city. It is finally set for completion in mid-2019.

Property watchers are not surprised at the increase of such developments in the region. The Redlands is only 40 minutes away from the Brisbane CBD and offers a little bit of everything – from lush greenery to magnificent beaches.
